Hi Everyone,
We are on the road again. so much to see and lots of people to met.
This Magnetic Hill you switch off the car while you are at the bottom of the hill and the car moves up the hill, not sure why it does this, but we had to try it out.

Port Germaine with the longest  wooden Jetty in the southern hemispire
And flowers at Weeroona Island.
This is over looking the land from lookout at Brooke, beautiful viewsThe old bakery ovens at Clare. At Clare pull into the show grounds and stayed there it was good as we were the only one there besides the bird, Crows and magpies mainly. Clare is know as the Garden of the North. It is a rich agrultural area, mainly wine which was started by the Jusuit priests, today it is still operating and run by the brothers.  We stayed here for 3 days but took time ti travel out to other small settlements.

We spent some time wondering around the maze which was made of the local slate and conifer trees. It was good as they gave you a quiz sheet and you had to find certain things around the maze. But as you see below Bob sat down on the job. We had lunch of banger and mash at the old hotel Magpie & Stump a great setting.

Old petrol pumps with Blossoming plum tree.
We went out to Martindale Hall, it was built by Edward Bowton for his bride to be from England.
Th lady declined his offer, and he lived my himself for many years. Now it is a tourist attraction.
In 1975 it was used to film parts of Picnic at hanging Rock. Its a shame to see places just sitting there
empty. We left Clare and stayed at a free campsite in Greenock for the night before moving on to
Adelaide. At Greenock Bob got attack by magpies, but they also got a shock as Bob was able to shove them off him before they pecked him the second time around. Bye for now Adelaide next.
